The project obviously seeks to "mock" the Consumer Price Index as published by TPTB. the way the CPI has been altered over the years has made it a virtually useless statistic; the arbitrary computation of a conveniently selected subset of prices, which in turn are subject to convenient modifiers.
You will get no such tampering with the Subway CPI. It's a footlong turkey sandwich. Unless Subway discontinues the turkey sandwich or the market discontinues Subway, it will not change.
The format is simple. City, Price, Date. This is dependent on user submissions, so some months may not have a city. Again, this is not a paid study or my doctoral thesis we are talking about here.
